The marvels credit scene shows big powers coming soon
When Monia awakens in a sterile laboratory bed in the post-credits sequence, she sees her mother, Maria Rambeau (Lashana Lynch), who is thought to be deceased. The viewer witnesses Monica's return from the Blip, the Thanos-caused calamity that eliminated half of Earth's population, as demonstrated in Wandvison's fourth episode. She discovers that her mother died of cancer without having had an opportunity to say goodbye to her when she awakens in an empty hospital room.
She tells her mother that she has missed her while crying, but Maria doesn't know who her daughter is. Following their conversation, Beast—a well-known X-Men character—explains to her that she is living in a separate universe. Her mother gets out of the chair she was seated in and puts on a superhero costume—a red and white ensemble she has never worn before.
It can be difficult for non-Marvel enthusiasts to identify the intended identity of this dimension's Maria Rambeau. According to Marvel Fandom, her costume is reminiscent of the character Binary, an Earth-616 Carol Danvers version.
The end credits sequence of "The Marvels" is the largest step yet toward a full-on X-introduction, albeit the MCU has long been hinting at the mutant hero universe of X-Men. Alongside her mother Maria (Lashana Lynch), who in Monica's reality passed away from cancer, Monica awakens in an unfamiliar white room with Binary, a superhero. (That was one of Carol Danvers' aliases in the comic books.) Monica becomes rather emotional as Dr. Henry McCoy (Kelsey Grammer), also known as Beast from the films "X-Men: The Last Stand" (2006) and "X-Men: Days of Future Past" (2014), steps in.
Carol Danvers existed before Binary, even if she hadn't taken on the Captain Marvel alias at the time. The mutant Rogue, who is still a villain, has taken Carol's powers and she has given up using her Ms. Marvel persona. The extraterrestrial Brood kidnaps her and begins experimenting on her. But Carol has an unforeseen side effect from their genetic tinkering: it gives her new powers and turns her into a fiery golden figure, "like a butterfly emerging from its chrysalis." This initial iteration of Binary possesses extraordinary perceptive abilities and is capable of producing heat, light, radiation, and gravity. Her lack of patience is what's lacking. She rockets out of the X-Men's spacecraft to go and save the Avengers as soon as she finds out that Storm is in danger
